Hey David!

Yes, it is encoded. You can use it on as many domains as you want to as long as you personally own each of them.

Thanks,

Ken

I want to order for this, but I hope it's not encoded and also I'm going to be making use of it on two domains, so don't ask for the address.

Hey Guy!

Just to be clear, my amProtect plugin does not work by itself to protect posts. It is a plugin that works with aMember Professional Membership Software. You set up your products / subscriptions / memberships in aMember and then you can protect your posts or pages based on those subscriptions. So if you wanted to charge by post you could set up a product by post in aMember and then the post could only be viewed by members who had paid you to view that post through aMember. To protect your zip files you can put them in a folder on your system and use aMember to protect the folder. When a folder is protected with aMember, nobody can get anything out of that folder unless they have paid you. So the same membership level in aMember can be used to protect a post (with amProtect installed in WordPress) and the zip file.

I hope that makes it clearer.

Hi Ken,

I would like to set up a blog with some protection and wanted to confirm whether your plugin can help. I can see some of the answers but for sake of clarity I will let you know all I want to do.

Free members have access to a few pages/content only and see teasers for other pages/content.

Membership is paid by post so if member pays for post 1 they can acccess that post. I also want to allow the download of a zip file. If they require post 2 then they would have to pay for that and also can downlaod a zip file

I can see you can protect individual posts just as you would products, butcan I deliver zip files as part of this?

thanks

If you're using aMember then amProtect can definitely allow you to protect an entire post or to just protect a portion of a post. So you can select whichever members you want to allow to see whichever posts. You can do the same thing for pages too. But at this time you cannot protect an entire category. You will select your protection on a post-by-post basis.

Hi , I'm looking to buy amProtect for my WordPress blog but I had a few questions.

I need to options. At first, we're going to limit all post to teasers with full access given to one membership package and a few trials memberships. Later we plan to split membership per category. Is this something easy to do with you plugin?

[...] amProtect - This is a plugin I myself wrote and I sell it here on this site. It works with aMember to completely hide and protect posts and pages from non-members or members who have not yet purchased a specific product. It is best for those situations where you do not want anyone to know about content that they have not purchased yet. [...]
